Description of the tours

1. NAPLES CITY Tour

This tour starts from Piazza del Gesù, one of the most central and beautiful squares of Naples. We will visit the cloister and the astonishing Church of Santa Chiara.

After walking down the famous street of Spaccanapoli we will reach Piazza San Domenico where you can taste Naples’ typical pastry, the sfogliatella, with a legendary espresso (Naples is the best known Italian city for coffee). We will then reach the Cathedral and the Chapel of the Treasury that contains the holy blood of San Gennaro, the patron saint of the city of Naples.

1. POMPEII Guided Tour

1. CAPRI Island Guided Tour

"Capri, the pearl of the Naples’ Bay, is one of the most enchanting islands in the world. Writers, poets, painters, artists, philosophers and princes, wanted to live in Capri, experiencing the seascapes beauty and the hospitality of the islanders.

Nowadays you can easily meet famous people at the “piazzetta” while eating a gelato or drinking a nice coffe. You will love the nature, the atmosphere, the art and flavors of this enchanting land. It is a private tour so you will enjoy a top -rated local guide speaking excellent English taking care of you.

Once on the island, our tour starts with the visit of the "Blue Grotto", a world famous natural attraction of the isle of Capri. A lot has been written about this natural cave and its surreal, phosphorescent blue light, created by the daylight entering the cave through an underwater opening located below the entrance.

After the visit of the cave, we will reach Anacapri, and then the highest point of the island by private typical convertible car. Lunch, free time and ready to reach the center of Capri with its shopping area! From the astonishing Augustus gardens we will see the icon of Capri Island: the famous "Faraglioni". Or rather, the three spurs of rock which stately, rise up out of the sea. After this amazing walking tour, we will catch the cable car to reach the pier."

Weather: The tour takes places rain or shine except when the sea is too rough and ships cannot leave the pier. The Blue Grotto visit also depends on weather conditions: if the sea is a little rough the grotto cannot be accessed because its entrance is only 1 meter high (3 feet)

1. VESUVIUS Tour

You will reach the top of the volcanic crater.

Mount Vesuvius looms across the bay from Naples, 5.6 mi (9 kms) away from the city. It is the only mainland European volcano to have erupted in the last hundred years although it is currently sleeping. Most famously it erupted in 79 AD, burying Pompeii and Herculaneum in ash, killing an estimated 10,000 to 25,000 people.

Today it is still regarded as one of the most dangerous volcanoes because 3 million people live nearby and Vesuvius' eruptions tend to be explosive rather than gentle. The last eruption was in March 1944 which destroyed several nearby villages.

Since 1995 Mount Vesuvius has been a national park and you can hike all the way to the summit. A road goes to within 660 ft (200 m) of the top. From there a spiral walkway around the mountain takes you to the crater. It can be a bit steep but there is a handrail and people providing walking sticks (for a price). Closed shoes are recommended as the path can be stony.
